Homemade Peanut Butter Cups

This recipe is from All Recipes.com. It's really easy to make and only requires a few ingredients.




Ingredients:
2 cups milk chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup confectioners' sugar
2/3 cup graham cracker crumbs
cupcake liners

Preparations:
  1. Melt chocolate chips and shortening over low heat.
  2. Fill bottom and patial edges of cupcake liners with the melted chocolate chips.
  3. Refrigerate for 15 minutes until hard.
  4. Melt butter and add graham cracker crumbs, peanut butter, powdered sugar and mix well.
  5. Take 1/2 tablespoon of graham cracker mixture and layer over chocolate in cupcake liners.
  6. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  7. Top each liner with remaining melted chocolate mixture.
  8. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

These were really good. They are twice the size of regular peanut butter cups which is a plus.

The chocolate tasted a lot like dark chocolate. It was really good!
