Ingredients:
- 1lb uncooked mostaccioli
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 3/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced Hunt's tomatoes with spicy red pepper
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced Hunt's tomatoes with roasted garlic
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 can (4 ounces) sliced mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 to 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Cook mostaccioli to package directions; drain and set aside. In a large saucepan, cook beef and onion over medium heat until no longer pink. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Drain.
- Stir in the tomatoes, tomato sauce and paste, mushrooms, water, salt, sugar, basil, pepper and bay leaf. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Delicious! The meat was well seasoned. I thought it was sausage!
