Sausage and Corn Fritters

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour -- sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup sausage -- cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup fresh corn off the cob
  • 2 egg yolks -- beaten
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 egg whites -- beaten stiff
  • 3 tablespoons of Olive oil

Preparations:

Step 1: Cook and brown your sausage.











Step Two: Combine flour, baking powder, paprika, salt, pepper.

Step Three: Beat egg yolks in separate bowl and then combine with flour mixture.

Step Four: Whisk egg whites (in it's own bowl) until stiff.

Step Five: Combine everything - browned sausage, flour mixture, corn, egg whites. Mix well.



Step Six: Drop tablespoons of batter into fry pan
filled with oil. Cook on medium heat for
3-5 minutes.
