Ingredients:
- 2 sticks of butter (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon water
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups of quick cooking oats
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla and water. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
- Combine both sets of ingredients. Add flour slowly if using electric mixer.
- Add oats and chocolate chips.
- Drop dough onto lined cookie sheet or non-stick cookie sheet.
- Bake for approximately 10 minutes. (The bigger the dough ball, the longer to cook.)
