Ingredients:
- 29 ounces of tomato sauce
- 15 ounces of diced tomatoes in puree
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon of Oregano
- 1 teaspoon of Basil
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
Preparations:
Brown sausage in oil. Add onions and green pepper. Saute until onions and peppers are soft.
- Add garlic and mix well.
Pour in tomato sauce and diced tomatoes.
Add salt, pepper, Oregano, Basil, mushrooms and sugar.
- Simmer sauce on low for 30 minutes.

This sauce was really good. Love the big chunks of sausage as well.
